is
a 3 man band (currently) consisting of three dudes from Long Island
NY. Our music started out in an Islip NY basement as a glam metal
cover band. Scorched Earth has strangely varying genre identity and
quickly developed into a band of original music within the classic
metal, hair metal, alt rock scope. During the 2020 Covid-19 breakout
Drummer/Guitarist Regolith paired up with vocalist Richie Dumais and
started writing music. After writing 5 tracks within 2 weeks Bassist
Dan Freeman was brought back into the fold.
Rich Dumais comes from a NY hardcore background and has done vocals
in live shows within the punk and acoustic punk show world.
Regolith plays a little drums and a little guitar and is the musical
mastermind behind all our original songs.
Dan Freeman has always been drawn to the bass and holding down the
low end. He comes from a classic metal background and has been in
a number of cover bands over the years that have toured the local
area.
Scorched Earth released its self-titled debut Album in August of 2021
and has since released two new singles. Living with the Risk &
Pilsners and Percocets. The third single, Vicarious Salvation, was
released on November 30th.
Their
latest EP Demons Down was released on all
streaming platforms on February 11th
They have been featured on facebook live a number of
times, aired on Pedal
to the metal radio show pod cast episode 69 and episode
86 as the unsigned band of the week. @pedaltothemetalradioshow.
They have also been aired on, The
metal mouth radio show episode 72, which is broadcast on Rocking
Fox Radio based in the UK. @themetalmouthradioshow. Scorched Earth
have been
aired on 94.3 The Shark
Radio on a show called Fresh Blood.

Fasting" on 6/12/2022 was aired on a segment called, "Local
Artist Spotlight".

Scorched Earth's
song "Wally world" from their debut album was aired on the
